Evaluations through LDEC are a multistep process with most clients completing the process in 3 visits.

• Visit 1 usually lasts 1.5-2 hours. During this session, clients will complete a comprehensive interview discussing their current concerns and why they are seeking an evaluation.
• Visit 2 involves completing specific assessments to answer all the questions that came up during Visit 1. The length of time is dependent on various factors, such as client age, type of concerns, and other individual considerations. Most clients will complete the second visit in 3-5 hours.
• Visit 3 is dedicated to providing feedback to families, including findings from the evaluation, recommendations, and connecting with local resources as well as answering any questions. This session generally takes around 1.5-2 hours.

Providers in LDEC are advanced graduate students in school, counseling, and/or clinical psychology who are supervised by licensed psychologists who are designated as Health Service Providers in Psychology (HSPP) in Indiana. The two psychologists are:

We primarily serve children and adolescents aged 2-18 years.

We also conduct disability evaluations for students attending Indiana University who are seeking classroom accommodations.

We also conduct Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs) for families and school districts needing outside psychoeducational evaluations for student special education eligibility.
