Social Science Research Commons (SSRC)

The SSRC is a state of the art facility for social science that serves as a prototype for longer range plans to establish a digital commons at IUB. While the SSRC is not intended to initiate grant proposals, they do facilitate innovative research while also offering technical and collaborative support in the grant development and submission process. Besides consulting, they offer services in Research Analytics, and Data Management, Acquisition and Organization. The School of Education is a partner in SSRC.

Proposal Development Services (PDS)

As a part of the Office of the Vice Provost for Research, the Proposal Development Service provides support to individuals and teams by supplementing existing campus and departmental resources throughout the grant development process. The PDS staff offers guidance and assistance to researchers in planning and conceptualizing externally funded research projects, seeking funding, and submitting well-crafted and responsive applications.
