Cost & Financial Aid
Kiplinger’s calls Indiana University "one of the best values in public colleges and universities." Get a top-quality education from the school where 20 Indiana Teacher of the Year award recipients got their start. Our program is surprisingly affordable compared to other teacher education programs in Indiana and around the Big Ten.
We offer a range of scholarships for qualified students. Current students can be considered for most School of Education scholarships by completing one application each year. If you are a prospective student who applies to our Direct Admit Scholars program, you’ll be considered for scholarship opportunities as an entering freshman.
Investing in yourself is the best way to secure your future. Compare our tuition and fees against any top 20 graduate school in education. You’ll find that an IU education degree is one of the best values in graduate education.
Fellowships & Assistantships
The School of Education offers a variety of assistantships and fellowships for graduate students. All graduate students who are admitted to a program in the School of Education are automatically considered for available assistantships and fellowships. These funding opportunities are highly competitive, and applicants are encouraged to investigate funding resources outside the School of Education.
