Early Field Experiences

Early Field Experiences

Early field experiences are designed to introduce you to a variety of classroom settings, and allow you to apply what you learn in your methods courses at schools within a 60-mile radius of campus.

In collaboration with your instructors and area educators, the Office of Clinical Experiences strives to ensure you are well prepared to begin your career in education first in student teaching, and finally in your own classroom.

Each field experience will be different than the last, growing in level of interaction and responsibilities. Days, times, and total hours will vary by course with an increased amount of field-hours required as you grow toward your final semester.

Be sure to check your course descriptions for specific information on field experience schedule requirements.
