Promotional Posting Guidelines
Posting of promotional signage in the School of Education is a courtesy to the requesting organization/sponsor.
Permission to post signs (posters, flyers, course announements, etc.) MUST be obtained from the Office of Marketing and Communications. To request permission please reach out to Marie Canning, Art Director by email at maricann@iu.edu, call 812-856-8204, or stop by ED 2204.
All postings MUST have an approval stamp that indicates the date when the sign is to be posted AND come down. After that date, building coordinators will remove expired signs.
At various times of the year space is at a premium. Therefore, organizations should limit postings of one flyer per wing. Flyers appearing in multiple locations may be removed at the discretion of the facilities.
To maximize effectiveness and to allow space, posters are to focus on events and may be hung up for no more than two (2) weeks. The postings may not promote classes, social media accounts, or general brand awareness.
Posting of signs, notices, and/or advertisements by individuals or organizations outside of approved locations is PROHIBITED. This includes hallways, the ground, waste receptacles, elevators, doors, windows, walls, poles, and trees.
All postings without proper approval will be removed. Building coordinators are authorized to remove improperly posted signs/flyers, notices, and/or advertisements in accordance with this policy.
