About Me
As an emeritus professor of mathematics education, I continue to work with graduate students and several university related projects and committees. My primary research interests focus on secondary analysis of the mathematics results from the National Assessment of Educational Progress (NAEP) and various international mathematics assessments. Additional interests include teacher education, understanding student motivation and beliefs in mathematics, and teaching mathematics through problem solving and applications.
