I heard about the School of Education diversity initiatives through the handshake app while applying for work-study positions here at IUB.

When did you begin working with diversity programs in the School of Education?
September 2020, Freshman year.

What do you like most about working in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? What do you find challenging in the work?
Everyone here in the Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion is so friendly and accepting. It's an amazing group of people to just be around.

What have you learned working in School of Education diversity programs? How do you believe working in diversity will impact your career goals?
I'm sure my experience working here as taught me the importance of communication, and punctuality.
