I heard about the School of Education diversity initiatives through the Assistant Dean Dr. Darnell.

When did you begin working with diversity programs in the School of Education?
I began working with the diversity programs in the School of Education at September 2020.

What do you like most about working in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? What do you find challenging in the work?
What I like most about working in the Office of DEI is being surrounded by amazing coworkers that can put a smile on your face if you have a bad day. When it comes to finding something challenging I do not find anything that was hard to handle.

What have you learned working in School of Education diversity programs? How do you believe working in diversity will impact your career goals?
I have learned that it takes communication and putting in the effort as a team to complete our tasks. I do believe that being a team leader in the Office of DEI can help me in my future career when I want to open up my own dentist office one day.
