I heard about the School of Education diversity initiatives through a job fair at the beginning of my freshman year!

I began working with the diversity programs in the School of Education the beginning of my freshman year!

What do you like most about working in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? What do you find challenging in the work?
So far I've only been with the program for a week, but so far I've met a ton of sweet people and I see it turning into a family environment.

What have you learned working in School of Education diversity programs? How do you believe working in diversity will impact your career goals?
With the time that I've been here so far, I've learned just how much detail that can impact your knowledge, from who's teaching you, their background, the author of the textbook they assign and many more! Working in diversity will help the knowledge you receive and help prepare you to work with different types of people!
