I heard about the School of Education diversity initiatives from the GROUPS Scholars program which I'm also a part of.

When did you begin working with diversity programs in the School of Education?
I'm a new hire for this semester but I'm already so excited for this job and the people I'm going to be working with!

What have you learned working in School of Education diversity programs? How do you believe working in diversity will impact your career goals?
I believe that working in diversity will really benefit my career goals. In the nonprofit sector it's important to be able to truly connect with and empathize to people; the more diversity I'm exposed to means the better I'll be at this and the more effective I'll be in helping people.
