Welcoming a new leader to the Office of Undergraduate and Teacher Education

Starting July 1, Meredith Park Rogers has agreed to serve as Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Teacher Education. Park Rogers’s time as Interim Associate Dean will run until June 2026.

“I am honored to serve the IUB School of Education community - students, faculty, and staff - as the Interim Associate Dean for Undergraduate and Teacher Education,” said Park Rogers. “While there are currently many challenges in education, I view this as time we can build on our many successes, while forging ahead to create new opportunities for our students to gain the knowledge, skills and dispositions needed to succeed in their chosen careers in education.”

Park Rogers replaces Jeff Anderson, who led the UTE office through many transformations, including adding the School of Education’s first non-teaching undergraduate degree program.

“Through Jeff’s leadership, the Office of Undergraduate and Teacher Education has grown and flourished while continuing to support all of our undergraduate students,” said Dean Stacy Morrone. “I’m grateful to Jeff for the time he’s devoted to our school and excited for what Meredith will bring to the position.”

More exciting news will be forthcoming in July.
