Award honors Coronel-Molina’s commitment to Indigenous languages

Professor Serafín Coronel-Molina has won the 2025 Quechua Lifetime Achievement Award for his commitment to Indigenous languages.

“Receiving the 2025 Quechua Lifetime Achievement Award at the 9th Annual Quechua Alliance Meeting is a profoundly meaningful honor,” said Coronel-Molina. “It represents not only a recognition of my lifelong commitment to the documentation, maintenance, and revitalization of Quechua and other Indigenous languages through research, teaching, service, and activism – but also a collective celebration.”
