Area children in grades K-8 can once again enjoy learning more about science this semester. Saturday Science Quest for Kids registration has opened with lessons for each age. Students will have the opportunity to formulate questions, do hands-on science experiments and act like scientists and engineers.
“Our goal is to build a positive learning community for all children that encourages students to wonder, ask questions and inquire about the world around them. We hope to develop a sense of curiosity in children that encourages them to solve problems,” said Meredith Park Rogers, Associate Professor and faculty supervisor of the program.
Registration will run until October 8, with the first class on October 16. Classes are limited to 16 students. In light of the COVID-19 pandemic, protocols are in place in order to keep students and instructors safe.
