Alumnus Brian A. Burt has been awarded the 2023 Alumni Achievement Award from the Neal-Marshall Alumni Club.

Burt graduated in 2004 with a degree in secondary English education from the IU School of Education. He is now Associate Professor in the Educational Leadership and Policy Analysis department in the School of Education at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Director and Chief Research Scientist in the Wisconsin’s Equity & Inclusion Laboratory (Wei LAB).
