Theresa A. Ochoa and Sandi Cole have both been recognized with teaching awards from Indiana University.

Ochoa, professor in Curriculum and Instruction, will receive the Thomas Ehrlich Civically Engaged Faculty Award. This award honors faculty who have shown outstanding leadership in integrating community and public service into their curricula. Recipients of this recognition create learning opportunities that go beyond the classroom, engaging students in real-world experiences and hands-on engagements within their local communities.

Sandi Cole, adjunct associate professor and Director of the Center on Education and Lifelong Learning, will receive the Part-Time Teaching Award. It honors remarkable teaching among part-time faculty and their contributions to IU and the community.
