Learning, Design, and Adult Education

Learning, Design, and Adult Education

We improve human learning and performance in diverse contexts

We prepare practitioners and researchers to design and build tools, processes, and systems for use in various instructional and non-instructional settings.

As an LDAE student you’ll work closely with faculty to analyze learning environments, design instruction, evaluate the effectiveness of different strategies for learning, and research a variety of technologies to enhance learning and performance

Our research crosses disciplines and incorporates theories of instructional design, use of emerging digital technologies to support learning, and workplace learning and performance improvement.

Our alumni hold key roles in governmental, corporate, educational and military organizations.
