Learning Outcomes

By the end of the Teacher Leader Pathway, you will:

  • Understand the roles and responsibilities of teacher leaders
  • Explore how teacher leaders work collaboratively to improve learning and teaching
  • Understand what teacher leaders do to improve equity for all students.
  • Acquire leadership skills and knowledge.

About the Instructors

Each course is taught by an accomplished K-12 educator who has firsthand knowledge and deep experience working with learning and teaching.

Length

Each course lasts approximately 15 weeks and each module takes approximately 5 weeks to complete.

Credit

Each course could be worth 3 credits in the MSED in Educational Leadership (Online) provided the student completes all requirements of the Teacher Leader Pathway, is successfully admitted to the MSED program, and meets all academic requirements specified by the School of Education.

Audience

The Teacher Leader Pathway appeals to classroom teachers and educational administrators in public and private school settings.
