- Each student is assigned a full-time faculty member as an academic advisor
- 41 credit hours are needed to complete the program
- Full-time students take 2 years to complete the program
- Cohort sizes vary between 35-50 students
- Students take 9-12 credit hours per semester
- A large number of students either take an internship or classes during the summer
- All students are required to complete a practicum (field experience) outside of their assistantship
