Where did you complete your undergraduate studies?
SUNY Plattsburgh (Plattsburgh, NY)

Why did you choose to attend IU Bloomington?
I am always looking for a change of scenery and Bloomington provided that for me. During my search for graduate schools, I was impressed by how welcoming the individuals I interacted with were. I also visited Bloomington prior to making an official decision and fell in love with the campus!

What should prospective students know about your IU School of Education graduate program?
The professors within the Counseling and Educational Psychology department are really supportive and always willing to sit with you and discuss whatever thoughts you may have, whether it be school or career related. The program also does a great job of assisting students with practicum and internship placements at sites that allow for hands-on counseling experience and growth as a budding clinician.

What has been your favorite academic accomplishment since starting your IU Bloomington program?
I would say what I am really proud of thus far is my growth as a clinician in the mental health field and just how much more comfortable I am within that space now in comparison to when I first started.

What is the best thing about life in Bloomington?
I really LOVE that during daylight saving time, the sun does not set until close to 9:30pm!
