Next Steps for Newly Admitted Students

Congratulations on being accepted to the Indiana University School of Education-Bloomington! This is an exciting milestone, and we are so proud you will be joining our remarkable student body. When you are ready, here are your next steps for prepare for your program:

  • Create your first Indiana University computing account via the IU Starter Kit.
  • If you are an international student, your admission will be considered conditional until you satisfy all requirements with the Office of International Services (OIS). Please work with OIS to finalize your admission.
  • Become familiar with the course requirements of your degree program and other program specific information via the Graduate Portal.
  • If your degree was still in progress at the time you were admitted, plan to provide a final transcript showing proof of degree completion as soon as your degree is awarded. Please have a final official transcript sent to gsoadms@iu.edu.
