How do you make math fun and engaging? Wouldn't it be great if students were as excited to learn math as they were to master a new video game? The Mathematics (Middle Grades) License Addition can be added to an Elementary or Secondary License. This program is only available to teacher candidates who are in the process of completing an initial license in a recognized Teacher Education Program.

We encourage you to discuss this license addition with a math education faculty member to better understand the program of study and all available options. A grade of "C" or higher in each education course and a minimum 2.5 GPA in the license addition are required. It may not be possible to complete this license addition as part of the four-year undergraduate degree program. A graduate option is available.

Courses which fulfill the Natural and Mathematics Sciences requirements are denoted by N&M. Courses which fulfill Mathematical Modeling requirements are denoted by MM.
