Teaching placements are made in Tomsk, a city in southern Siberia. Teachers typically live in the dormitory on the campus of Tomsk State Pedagogical University.

Teaching Responsibilities

Teachers will teach conversational and written English to a variety of grade levels. Further, it may be possible to fulfill practicum requirements in Russia for the ESL/ENL license addition.

Other Considerations

Proficiency in Russian is not required, but participants are encouraged to learn the Cyrillic alphabet and basic words and phrases before they leave for their placement. Participation is not limited to teachers pursuing ESL/ENL license addition.
