Teaching placements are made in and around the capital city of Quito. Some placements may be arranged in smaller communities outside of Quito. Teachers typically live in homestay accommodations.

Most teachers will teach conversational and written English, but you may also teach specific subjects using English as the medium of instruction. Further, it may be possible to fulfill practicum requirements in Ecuador for the ESL/ENL license addition.
A basic level of proficiency in Spanish is required. Participation is not limited to teachers pursuing the ESL/ENL license addition.
