About

About the Symposium

The Curriculum and Instruction Graduate Research Symposium (GRaS) will take place on March 3, 2023, in the School of Education.

The symposium is defined as an open space for graduate students to engage in a reflective dialogue concerning their research work at different stages of development. While the symposium aims to provide supportive feedback to all graduate students in the department, the presentations will be developed toward reaching a rigorous observation of the inquiry process that scholars are developing in their respective fields of study. All students in the C&I in-person and online graduate programs are encouraged to submit their proposals by January 31, 2023, 11.59 pm EST.

GRaS is the evolution of our previous Curriculum and Instruction Research and Creative Activities Symposium (CIRCAS). For this edition, we are transitioning to the merging of the Departments of Literacy, Culture, and Language Education and Curriculum and Instruction, and we are also organizing this conference to share our research in a post COVID-19 context. We are excited to receive your work and meet you on the day of the conference.
