Why did you choose to attend IU Bloomington?
The Instructional Systems Technology program at IU is one of the best programs in the country, so selecting IU was a rational decision. In addition, I was offered a teaching fellowship that influenced me to come here.
What should prospective students know about your IU School of Education graduate program?
The School of Education at IU offers competitive graduate programs. Several programs have been ranked highly, so choosing these graduate programs at SOE can provide prospective students with quality education for their money. In addition, the SOE is an excellent, nurturing and supportive place, so prospective graduate students may find the school more desirable than other competitive schools.
What has been your favorite academic accomplishment since starting your IU Bloomington program?
Passing my dossier exam (a.k.a. Qualification exam) has been the most remarkable accomplishment of my academic career here at IUB.
What is the best thing about life in Bloomington?
Life in Bloomington has been quite fun. Bloomington is a vibrant college town and a lot of things are happening all the time. The town has the southern Indiana charm—lush green, rolling hills, lakes, state parks. Furthermore, diversity is notable and the community is progressive in Bloomington.
