Graduate License Addition

Open new worlds of adventure to your students - through reading. Build specialized knowledge and proficiency in teaching literacy to students at the elementary and secondary levels. The Reading license addition can be added to an Elementary or Secondary License. This program is available to teacher candidates who are in the process of completing an initial license through a recognized Teacher Education Program. It is also available to current teachers who want to add a reading specialization to their existing teaching license.

If you have a bachelor's degree, you may pursue the Reading license addition in conjunction with a Master's program or with the Elementary Certification Master's Program (ECMP).
