This Saturday, over 400 graduates from the Indiana University School of Education are preparing to take what they’ve learned far beyond the classroom. From future elementary educators and school counselors to educational leaders and mental health professionals, this graduating class reflects both the growing needs of today’s schools and the expanding ways educators make an impact. Among the undergraduate class alone are 17 first-generation students.
This year’s graduates in our undergraduate programs completed thousands of hours of field work, student teaching, and practicum experiences—serving schools, supporting students, and gaining hands-on experience in communities across Indiana and beyond.
