Four online master’s programs nationally ranked

Four programs at the IU School of Education received top rankings from the latest (2021) U.S. News and World Report Best Online Master’s in Education program rankings, one of several schools receiving recognition across Indiana University

Educational/Instructional Media Design is ranked No. 3 across the country, while Educational Administration and Supervision rose three spots to No. 4.

Curriculum and Instruction and Special Education were both ranked fifth, respectively.

In a year when educators were challenged beyond anyone’s imagination, the School of Education at IU is proud of the remarkable online programs we offer. We are excited to continue to expand our quality online education in the future.

The School of Education is proud of the depth and availability of our online programs, especially during a time of crisis like the pandemic, when online classes are so important to the continuity of education.

“In a year when educators were challenged beyond anyone’s imagination, the School of Education at IU is proud of the remarkable online programs we offer,” Interim Dean Anastasia Morrone said. “We are excited to continue to expand our quality online education in the future.” 

“We are thrilled to have our programs ranked so highly,” said Sarah Lubienski, Associate Dean of Graduate Studies. “Our excellent faculty strive to give our students the best experience possible, and it’s wonderful to see their work recognized.”

Overall, the IU School of Education is ranked 42 (tie) across the country.
