Saturday Science Quest for Kids, in collaboration with the IU Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences, presents River Camp, a full day, week long camp exploring and experimenting about river formation—those around the world and in our own backyard!
This camp is intended for students who will be entering Grades 4, 5, or 6 in the 2023/2024 school year.
Registration is scheduled to launch March 24. Please come back here to register at that time.
9:00am–4:00pm each day
IU Campus + 2nd floor of Geological Sciences building
Drop-off begins 8:30 am and pickup is no later than 4:30 pm.
River Camp is an exciting opportunity for students to explore their curiosity about the world using the same tools as real Earth scientists! Lessons are inquiry-focused and will teach students through a combination of fieldwork, experiments, satellite images, and computer simulation.
The cost of the camp is $150.00 per student for the week.
