I began working with diversity program in the School of Education my sophomore year at IU (last year) in September 2019.

What do you like most about working in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? What do you find challenging in the work?
I like working with people who look like me and are excited about making IU and The School of Education more diverse and inclusive. The challenging part of the work is being creative with project ideas, especially now being a team leader.

What have you learned working in School of Education diversity programs? How do you believe working in diversity will impact your career goals?
I have learned a lot about professionalism and the importance of diversity/safe spaces in the workplace. I believe working in diversity will push myself to work somewhere I feel that diversity is cherished and to expect more as I begin my career.
