Jordyn Doyle is an Associate Instructor for the Overseas Program in the Global Gateway for Teachers. She participated in the program in 2016. Her placement was in Thessaloniki, Greece in a Greek-French school. Following her student teaching, she traveled around Europe, experiencing a number of other cultures, and she was able to return to Thessaloniki to see the students she worked with most graduate. In the time since then, she worked for three years as an English teacher at a school in Okeechobee, Florida. Within that school, she took on many roles, including being the sponsor for multiple after school clubs and leading professional development for her fellow teachers regarding Culturally Responsive Teaching. Now she is back at IU to obtain a master's degree in Literacy, Culture, and Language Education.
