What is the difference between admission to the School of Education and applying to the Teacher Education Program?
- Students no longer apply to the School of Education independently of admission to the Teacher Education Program. Degree seeking students from the School of Education and certification/licensing only students (College of Arts and Sciences, HPER, Music etc.) meet the same requirements for admission to the Teacher Education Program and teacher licensing. In the first case, SOE students are only required to meet graduation requirements for the SOE. In the second case, COAS and other students seeking certification only must meet both the SOE and their home college requirements for graduation.
