Before you meet with your advisor, it may be helpful to look at the program advising sheet and the teaching license you seek.

These advising sheets are the same ones your Teacher Education advisor will use with you when you meet with her or him. You can download and use the appropriate advising sheet in planning, but we strongly recommend that you also confirm your plan during a meeting with a teacher education advisor. Your advisor can help you plan your program so that you will be able to get your teaching license without taking any more courses than necessary. And your advisor will know of any recent or projected changes in course availability or program requirements.
