Greetings! I am a former elementary teacher in Korea, and am a doctoral student majoring in Curriculum Studies and Teacher Education at this wonderful university. I am currently teaching Elementary Education for Pluralistic Society and preparing my dissertation. I love being a member of School of Education at IU which is one of the well known higher education institutions, simply because the whole environment makes me comfortable like my hometown filled with friendly and honest people. Here, I can read what I have wanted to read, engage in diverse intellectual dialogues, and experience a variety of cultures. The freedom of academia is another attractive feature in my department. I live in an apartment on campus with my wife and three children, two of whom are in elementary school and one is still a baby. Bloomington is a wonderful place to raise kids.
