My name is Servet Celik and I am a doctoral student from Turkey in the Language Education Department here in Bloomington, specializing in Foreign Language Education with a minor in TESOL and Applied Linguistics. My professional interests include Language Teacher Education, Native and Non-native language teachers, Language Planning & Policy, Drama & Role-Play in ELT, Teaching of English to Young Learners, Testing in EFL/ESL Classrooms, Structure of English, New Approaches to Language Teaching (e.g. NLP, Task-Based Instruction, Reflective Teaching, Content-Based Instruction and Portfolio Assessment). I am currently a faculty member at the English Language and Literature Department at Karadeniz (Blacksea) Technical University in Turkey, where I will teach college-level classes upon completion of my degree.
