Center for P-16 Research and Collaboration

Partnering with universities, schools, and their communities, the Center for P-16 Research and Collaboration (P-16 Center) combines outreach and research to best serve our school partners.

Situated within the Indiana University of School of Education, the P-16 Center was founded in 2006 to strengthen the education pipeline from pre-school through postsecondary in Indiana’s schools. The P-16 Center has partnered with schools, districts, and other partners throughout the state on initiatives ranging from elementary school science to college access and retention. The P-16 Center announces a new program to support college-going and success in Indiana. The BSP will bring Indiana high school students from underrepresented minority groups to the Indiana University campus to introduce and prepare them for college and provide support through their academic careers. The first cohort of students will attend the Balfour Pre-College Academy this summer.
