Math Education End-Of-Semester Lunch
In May, many of the math education faculty and graduate students gathered at Lennie's (a favorite local brew pub) to celebrate the semester's end.
Frank Lester Selected as Recipient of 2008 AMTE Award
Professor Frank Lester has been selected as the recipient of the 2008 AMTE Award for Excellence in Scholarship in Mathematics Teacher Education. His contributions to the field of mathematics education over the past 35 years and to AMTE are significant and we are thrilled that he has been honored with this prestigious award.
Frank presented a featured session at the 2008 AMTE Annual Conference in Tulsa, OK, which was held from January 24 – 26.
