You’ve worked hard to get where you are now. After years of course work, classroom observation, and student teaching, there’s one more step before you can put your education to work in the classroom: earning the appropriate licensure.
Because licensing regulations in Indiana and around the United States are constantly changing, licensing can be a confusing process for new teachers. To help, the School of Education will work with you to prepare your license application and ensure you have met all the necessary requirements.

Transition to Teaching
If you have a bachelor's degree, you may be able to earn a license to teach at the secondary level in just one year. Learn more about the Transition to Teaching program »
