The Department of Literacy, Culture, and Language Education teaches current and future teachers how to teach and research in the areas of English Education, Foreign and Second Language Education, and Literacy/Reading Education. The department offers graduate and undergraduate programs which prepare students to work in education at the elementary, secondary, and college levels. [The LCLE Department Mission Statement]

    • A newer version of the EPDE (EFL/ESL Program via Distance Education), with the certification of EFL/ESL teachers and the certification of EFL and ESL teacher trainers, has been developed. See more on the story here.
