Distance Education Program
  • Overview of Distance Education Program
  • Language Arts Education Courses through Correspondence and the World Wide Web
Indiana University, through the the School of Education's Distance Education program, offers beginning and experienced educators coursework that can be completed in their home or classroom at a pace that suits their schedules. Topics range widely across both the elementary and secondary reading and language arts curricula, offering graduate-level credit that will help meet recertification requirements in school districts across the country and around the world--all from the convenience of your home computer. The projects on which you wll work involve school-based research that could have a significant positive impact both on how you teach and how your students learn.
  • EFL/ESL Distance Education Certificate Program (EPDE)
The program is developed to address the immediate need for qualified and knowledgeable English language teachers and teacher trainers overseas and in the US. The EPDE certificate program described here provides an opportunity for interested individuals to take action and to make a difference in the global community and in the one closer to home wherever that may be.
