Undergraduate Offerings
Dr. Robert Appelman is the coordinator of our undergraduate offerings. These include:
- Technology Education Program: Designed specifically to prepare pre-service teachers to integrate technology into teaching strategies. Two paths are available, through either W200 or a W201 – W301 – W401 series depending upon the licensure program sought, and both are supported by the Teaching Technology Laboratory.
- Computer Educator License (CEL) Program: Results in an add-on license that certifies the holder to teach software applications and assume a technology leadership role in a K-12 context.
- Instructional Technology Minor: Besides satisfying the requirements as a Cognate for Informatics Majors, this series of courses prepares students to implement new media technologies into teaching and training solutions through the creation of immersive virtual learning environments.
