Doctoral Qualifying Exams
The Indiana University, School of Education, IST Quals is an event that all Ph.D. and Ed.D. students must pass in order to be nominated to candidacy. Normally, the qualifying exams are done at or near the end of doctoral course work. Contact the IST Office for more information.
Students who are planning on taking their qualifying exam within the next six months should notify their program advisory committee chair. They should maintain regular contact with their chair as the exam date approaches. The date for the starting the quals in Spring, 2005, is Thursday, January 20.
