Master's Program Welcome
Considering a career in higher education and student affairs? If so, take a moment to look at what Indiana University (IU) has to offer you as a graduate student.
The Higher Education and Student Affairs (HESA) Master’s Program at IU is consistently ranked as one of the best programs in the nation. Our program provides students with an experience that combines cutting edge research in the classroom with a hands-on experience in their graduate assistantship. In the last five years, placement of our graduates has been close to 100 percent, with almost all entering positions in student affairs. Many alumni, now in prominent positions in the field, are eager to hire IU graduates.
"The HESA Masters program at Indiana University boasts supportive staff and faculty, who not only teach the material, but are continuously researching and studying it as well; a wide variety of learning opportunities outside of the classroom through assistantships, practicums, and involvement in student organizations; and a diversity of experiences to help you build and strengthen your professional identity as a practitioner in this field. In these ways the HESA program has provided me with all the necessary pieces towards the next step in my professional journey."
