I am an associate professor of Instructional Systems Technology at Indiana University. My work and interests are centered primarily on scaffolding learning through problem solving. My primary research interest is in supporting teachers and students as they shift their learning practices toward problem-based inquiry. Presently, I serves as co-editor of The Interdisciplinary Journal of Problem-Based Learning, an open-access journal that publishes scholarly work on problem-, project-, case-, and inquiry-based learning.
