Mission Statement
The Dean's Advisory Council is an undergraduate honorary organization that is committed to the School of Education's mission of providing the students with a positive environment and worthwhile learning experiences. As representatives of the undergraduate student body, the Dean's Advisory Council seeks to voice concerns and/or ideas regarding the policies and procedures affecting undergraduate students. We also participate in committees to facilitate activities for students both in the School of Education and the community, these committees include: activities, special projects, and policy. The D.A.C. is also actively involved in hosting outreach programs, the publication of newsletters, hosting invited speakers, and apprising the Office of Teacher Education on issues of concern facing the undergraduate students. We hold an open-door policy; everyone is welcome to attend our meetings to voice concerns, opinions or to ask questions. If we can not directly help you with your dilemma, we are dedicated to help you find an outside solution.
Do you have an idea that would improve the School of Education? Big or Small...WE WANT TO KNOW!
E-mail us at educdac@indiana.edu or attend one of our weekly meeting on Monday nights at 8:30pm in room 2277.

your work need not be lost;
that is where they should be.
Now, put the foundations under them."
