Saturday Science Quest for Kids
Science comes alive for kids during our Saturday Science Quest program. This popular program provides K–8 children of all interests and abilities with opportunities to formulate questions, do hands-on science experiments, and act like scientists. The class instructors are often former classroom teachers who are currently science education doctoral students/candidates. Also, undergraduate education majors help support instruction and provide one-on-one attention for any child who may need it.
The program runs for five Saturday mornings (9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.) during fall and spring semesters. Topics change every semester. For information regarding previous topics, see our archived lesson plans. We also are including engineering aspects in various classes.
Tuition is $65 per child with a discounted price of $55 for each additional child from the same family also registering.
There are three full ($65) and three partial scholarships ($25) available for Fall 2016 for those who qualify. Please contact Sara Sturgeon (812-856-8129 OR email@example.com ) for details on these scholarships and what the criteria is to qualify. Information on scholarships will only be available once registration is open.
Please note that full payment is due by credit or debit card at the time you register. We are no longer accepting checks or cash for payment. If you have any questions regarding this change please contact Sara Sturgeon (812-856-8129 OR firstname.lastname@example.org ).
