Welcome to the Department of Counseling and Educational Psychology. The faculty and students of the department share a great deal of enthusiasm about our graduate programs and our contributions to the undergraduate teacher education program at Indiana University-Bloomington. We have multiple missions, but at the heart of our enterprise is a community of scholars working hard to contribute solutions to the problems faced by children and adults in the context of contemporary education. Faculty and students individually and collaboratively investigate numerous facets of human development, mental health, learning, metacognition, aging, semiotics, educational assessment, and inquiry methodologies.
