Doctoral Programs

Art Education at Indiana University is a graduate program area within the Department of Curriculum and Instruction (C & I). We offer two doctoral degrees: The Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) and the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.). Requirements for the two programs are very similar, with most students choosing the Ph.D.
