Counseling Field Experience Information
Clinical experiences are an integral part of a degree in counseling at Indiana University. The counseling practica are part of the course requirements in the counseling program that provide an opportunity to practice skills and to utilize acquired knowledge in real life situations. The practicum is designed to be taken toward the completion of your academic program which then culminates in the integration of theory with practice.
