Teacher Education Information System (TEIS)

IU Bloomington Students Only:

Teacher Education Information System (TEIS) is the online system which students use to apply for entry into various Teacher Education programs. TEIS also permits Teacher Education students to monitor their progress and to apply for student teaching placements. TEIS security features permit students to view only their own records through use of their IU Network ID and password. TEIS requires use of a Web browser that can perform highly encrypted transactions with a secure server on the Internet (e.g., Netscape and Internet Explorer 4.x will work, while older versions may not).

Currently, students can use TEIS in order to:

  • Apply for admission into the Teacher Education Program
  • Monitor progress through the program
  • Request a student teaching placement

For IUB Students: When you click on "Enter ..." below, you will be asked for your:

  • Network ID at Indiana University Bloomington
  • Network Password at IUB. This password may be the same as the one you use for your e-mail account (e.g., Outlook, Pine). If you have problems logging in, you will need to take a photo ID card to the UITS Support Center (Indiana Memorial Union, M084, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday - Friday).
